You would think that the reason I haven't blogged in a while is because I've been busy being my fabulous self (which is in part, true) but really I just haven't felt like it. Now, I'm not abandoning my blog, but aside from going to the movies every weekend, getting my wisdom teeth pulled, visiting my Grandma, and reading for law school - I haven't really done anything worth blogging about.
Alphabet dating had been put on hold the past few weeks. Once again, Jesse schemed his way to making E into another movie date with Harry Potter in 3D at Edward's Cinema. I was tired so I went with it. He failed at making watching Funny People (which was not as funny as expected) the F date. We need to come up with something original for F. Something that does not involve going to the zoo to see flamingos or ferrets because it's too dang hot in this city! We've gotten sidetracked by the weekend movie releases. One thing Jesse and I can't resist is a relaxing night watching the weeks "must see". We opted out of our ABC's this past weekend because I had just gotten back from El Salvador so we went on a romantic dinner (followed by a movie, of course!) to catch up on everything that had happened while I was gone. I really missed Jesse and hate being away from him that long, but we got to talk every day and our reunion dinner was so much fun! Distance really does make the heart grow fonder.
I have 11 days until I give myself completely to the study of law. Although this is technically my last weekend to run wild before law school starts, I can't because it is already consumed by something law related! I'm taking a prep course with Kaplan Saturday and Sunday from 9am-5pm. I know, crazy. Then on Tuesday I have a New Student Reception at the law school and orientation Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I'm really excited/nervous to start this new chapter of my life. The work load is going to be intense but I'm looking forward to learning about subjects I am actually interested in. I cannot even begin to explain how exciting my Contracts reading is. I'm sure this feeling will fade once I'm knee deep in reading.
Lastly, guess who's helping with youth ministries?! ME! Jesse is all for me getting involved with our church, as long as I don't make him volunteer as well. Typical.
I think we might be going to a Stros game this weekend...F is for FANATICS?! We'll see what Jesse has up his sleeve!

Perpetual state of D
It seems as though our alphabet dating has come to a standstill. There are so many "D" things we wanted to do that we've decided to get them all out of our system before we move on to "E". I am sure this breaks the alphabet dating rules somehow but we're doing it anyway.
On Friday night, Jesse and I went to Studio Grill for dinner and a movie. My brother had told me about how neat the place was and we knew we needed to upgrade the Alamo Drafthouse for a classier dining/theater experience. "D" became dinner & a movie, a classic dating choice. We decided on Bruno, expecting to laugh harder than we did for Borat but left feeling violated and offended. It takes a lot to offend Jesse and let me tell you, he was VERY offended after watching the movie. "D" then took the form of "disturbing dinner & a movie". After wards, we met up with John and Ashley at Howl At The Moon, a bar in the Midtown area. Initially, I felt uncomfortable being in a place full of people in their 30's and watching them go crazy on the piano bar and playing thumper in the corner. I still need to adjust to the city life and being around people of all ages; not expecting the same pastel filled scene at the local college hangout.
People watching there was our entertainment for the night and we ended up having a great time. We still, however, felt the D date was a bust and felt we could have done so much more with it...which takes us to this weekend, D date part II. We have quite a few options for this weekend:
Free Salsa Dancing Lessons at the Aquarium during "Latin Beats". This will REALLY be Jesse and I doing something different!

Or Mixer & Elixirs at the Houston Museum of Natural Science on Friday night. It's $15 to get in and you can enjoy live entertainment and food amongst the dinosaurs. There's a cash bar and for $8 more you can watch a movie in the planetarium.

Check out how much fun everyone is having around the well lit dinosaur!I've been wanting to go to both all summer long...we might just do both Friday night! In other news, I saw that my first law school assignment is online and waiting for me to get started on. I'm so excited to finally be able to learn ONLY about subjects that I'm interested in. I am a little nervous though, the assignment stated that if your last name begins with the letters A-C then you should be fully prepared to lead the discussion in class. Uh-oh...that means ME! Yikes! I have exactly 5 weeks to prepare myself to get called on and I want to make sure I impress my Criminal Law professor...maybe I should start now? No way, it's SUMMER! I'll start after my trips to El Salvador and Thailand (keeping my fingers crossed on that one).
Stay classy, bloggers.

Julio Happenings
Not a lot has happened since my last post. I got a MacBook Pro, and as I was setting it up I remember being really excited about blogging on it. I've had it for a few weeks now and haven't even thought about blogging until today. I have been tweeting more than usual, though. Aside from finding out that I have a number of holes in each retina and may have to get lasers shot in my eye to prevent me from going blind, the most eventful day so far has been July 3rd. I'm lame and didn't do anything extraordinary on the 4th...my bad. Last Friday I kept busy with two things: Warped Tour and cheering DaNae to victory in the Miss Texas pageant.
Honestly, I wasn't a big fan of most of the bands at Warped...I only went to see Innerpartysystem. There were a few other bands that I wanted to check out but they weren't good live at all. Anti-Flag and Thrice were alright. As for the oh-so-popular 3Oh!3, I suggest you put your "303's" down and just listen to them on the radio. Def not worth seeing live. This was my second time to see IPS and they did not disappoint. They're so freakin' good. If you haven't heard their music, go to their Myspace page. I got to talk to the guys and really wanted to go see them again at Warped in Dallas but I ended up not making it out there.
Speaking of Dallas (Arlington to be exact)...my good friend DaNae Couch recently competed in the Miss Texas Pageant and was 1st runner-up. I'm so proud of her and wish I could have been there to cheer her on in person. Jesse and I watched the competition via webcast instead of going on our D date; which was supposed to be dancing lessons but I guess I can be lazy and bend the rules a bit and make D stand for DaNae. Ha! I bet she'd love that. Like Luis said in his saweeet blog Saturdays, I usually think pageants are really boring. It would have been if it wasn't for DaNae's stunning gown and amazing twirling act! Or maybe it just flat out would have been boring if I had no one to cheer for on there. So maybe she wasn't exactly victorious because she didn't win the whole thing, but she went the farthest than any other newbie has in a very long time. "If you're not first, you're last" - she was FIRST runner-up...so there. DaNae wins in my book!
I want to do something. Like actually DO something not just go to shows and go to work with my dad. I feel like I've just been killing time instead of valuing the time off I have before law school starts. Here's a mini list I have compiled of things I am interested in doing (keyword interested because I am lazy and probably won't get around to doing them):

- Visit Audrey and Steven in Thailand. Now, I'm not too lazy to do this..the flights are just so expensive!
- Visit Mary in St.Louis. Flights are cheap, I have no excuse not to go!
- Go to Rockport with Lindsey and Kristen.
- Do something to my hair....

C is for CRAWFISH
I love our alphabet dates! This past weekend we ate POUNDSSSSS of crawfish at our new eatery Off The Hook Seafood. It's off of Westheimer a few blocks after Addicks Clodine going towards 1464. My dad's friend's sons own it and said his sons boil the best crawfish in town. He wasn't kidding! The rest of their menu seems limited but it is enough for a new restaraunt (they've only been open for a month). Try their crawfish queso and pad thai (sp?)...you WILL NOT be disappointed. It's family owned/run and they seriously are some of the nicest people I have ever met. Check them out at Off The Hook Seafood.
Seeing as my blog has now become a dating blog I can either:
(A) Make this blog into a strictly dating blog. Mary says this will give me more followers. Honestly, who doesn't want to be popular? Kidding...
or...
(B) Create a new blog about fun dating ideas!
Please comment, I need as much insight at possible!

B is for BOWLING
Yesterday, Jesse and I went to the oh so dangerously ghetto FunPlex to bowl. It was his turn to pick and he narrowed it down to two excellent choices - bowling or the Butterfly Museum. Being the incredible athlete that he is - he chose bowling. I remember going there when I was younger and thinking it was the coolest place on the planet. It was the closest thing to a Celebration Station or Dave & Busters in our area and was the local hangout throughout my childhood. My parents always thought it was sketch, so I didn't go as often as my friends did. Fifteen years later, it ONLY serves as a cheap place to bowl during the day...we wouldn't dare go there past sunset. We tried to play the arcade games but a lot of the machines stole our tokens! Afterwards, we went to church and hung out with my cousins. An amazing day with an amazing boyfriend...I am so blessed!
Jesse killed me.
I also spent this weekend exploring the city and boy was it eventful. We went to Midtown one night and I joined the UFO Club at the Flying Saucer. It was on the top of my to-do list before I even moved back to Houston and am so glad I'm finally doing it. The Flying Saucer has 200 beers and as a club member, a record is kept of each beer you have tried. When you reach the 200th beer, you get a golden plate with your name/whatever on it and it is hung in the "Ring of Honor". You are then given $100 for a private party at the bar for the unveiling of your plate. I'm not much for beer but I wouldn't mind trying each beer once within the next year or two. We ventured into Katy one night and went to Baker Street and Wild Wings (not to be mistaken for the popular Buffalo Wild Wings). Wild Wings was a lot of fun and and inexpensive. I recommend their chili queso.
It's my turn to pick the next alphabet date which probably won't happen until July because Jesse has a big test coming up. Any suggestions?

UPDATE!
- I just bought two incredible seats for Kings of Leon! Best day ever!
- Leighton Meester's sex tape has now been sold and can be viewed on-line for a price. I'm not going to watch it but I read at pinkisthenewblog.com that she's very talented with her feet. Sick!
- NYC Prep premieres next Tuesday! Please watch!
- Lastly, I'm a little nervous about Monday's Jon & Kate Plus 8. What was supposed to be a fun episode about the kids getting play houses for the backyard is now going to be an hour long special concerning an important announcement. Watch the trailer here! I sure hope they're not getting a divorce.
Kings of Leon
Kings of Leon tickets go on sale this morning and I am on pins and needles! It's October 6 (Jesse's 23rd birthday!) at the Toyota Center. I already spoiled his birthday surprise by telling him three weeks ago that I was anxious to buy his birthday present and was forced to tell him what it was. I just could not hold such great joy from him! He was super excited...so now I have to make sure I secure two tickets for us!
In other news, my favorite Gossip Girl Leighton Meester has a sex tape out. You can find more info about it at perezhilton.com. Oh Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass really did bring out the naughty vixen hidden under the argyle sweaters and flowery head pieces.
This weekend: mine and Jesse's "B" date, my first step towards conquering the Flying Saucer challenge, andFather's Day! Check back on Monday for the run down of this eventful weekend!

A is for ART MUSEUM

Jesse and I had our first alphabet date this week at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts. Neither of us are into art but it was a lot of fun to do something we would never do. That's the whole point of alphabet dating in the first place. We weren't really into the art from different areas of the world as much as we were interested in European and American art but we did find the "North Looks South: Building the Latin American Collection" the most interesting. It had paintings by Frida and really cool/strange walk-through exhibits. There was one were we had to put on little booties and walk through a white room with white floors and walls. The room was divided into an areas with bright red, blue, and green lights. The drastic changes in colors were supposed to shock our retinas and change our perception of our skin, clothes, and the rest of our surroundings. Another walk-through exhibit we liked was called "La Ciudad Hidroespacia"; which I think translates to "the outer space city".
The artist basically made clear space ships in which he envisioned people will be living on as they travel through the Earth's atmosphere in the future. The models hung from the ceiling in a blue room and a short film played which showed the models floating around above a city. One artist created pictures of his family members out of their own hair! All in all, Jesse and I enjoyed the really weird stuff at the museum; not the art with actual historical value. Go figure.Later that evening we met up with April for her boyfriend's, Chris, 24th birthday dinner at Lupe's Tortillas. The meal was great and the drinks were cheap. Afterwards, we went to the Shot Bar in Midtown and The Dubliner in the Heights. Both were SO much fun! Great music and great people! I highly recommend them!
That's it for now...I'm still working on getting to the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit at the Museum of Natural Science. April told me about Mixers & Elixers there every Friday...I'll probably do that before I see the exhibit with Jesse! Ha!

Lately
TODAY IS THE HOTTEST DAY IN HOUSTON OF 2009.
94 feels like 98
94 feels like 98
It has been a little over 4 weeks since I have moved back to my beautiful hometown from the thriving metropolis that is Waco, Texas. Eh...not so much, but Waco was great to me and I miss it a lot, actually. I like to think fondly of the four years I spent there and I'm sure my friends and family are getting tired of me ranting about how Waco has much more to offer in terms of dining and happy hour specials. In a previous post I mentioned how I have been "working" for my dad since I've been back. Many of you ask, "what else have you been doing?" or "aren't you bored without your friends?".
So here it is, the answer to your questions...this is what I have been up to LATELY:
- Although I've taken over 2 other bedrooms at my dad's to increase storage/closet space and am almost out of storage alternatives, I cannot help but expand my wardrobe. Houston summer's demand cute shorts and tees like these that I recently purchased at jcrew.com:
- Taking advantage of my Sephora Insider deals and trying new makeup samples.
- Catching up all of the movies I have been wanting to rent at Redbox. I recommend "W". Even if you are not a fan of President Bush, the movie gives an accurate portrayal of his life before his presidency and the events leading to his decision to invade Iraq.
- Exploring the Houston night life.
- Running!
- Watching shows on Hulu while at work.
- Keeping up with Baylor friends and re-connecting with friends from home.
- Attending church weekly with Jesse.
- Planning mine and Jesse's alphabet dates. First up, the art museum after church on Sunday!

House of Blues

A little reminiscent of our Sing act a few years back (Theta Blue's House, RIP) the House of Blues serves as an excellent source of entertainment in Houston. I was looking forward to seeing Better Than Ezra perform there all last week (fail) and am making it a mission to go to the HOB for its next big show. Matisyahu performed Monday and Third Eye Blind on Tuesday. Here are a few of the shows I might go to:
06/17/09 Filter Presents: Santigold w/ Trouble Andrew and Amanda Blank
The artist previously and most recently known as Santogold.
06/25/09 Ben Kweller w/ Jones Street Station
If you're into a bluesy down-south twang with a hint of rock kind of sound, then you should download his cd Changing Horses, it will CHANGE your life.
07/09/09 Very Disco: A Daft Punk Tribute
Everyone who knows me knows how much I love Daft Punk. Crazy light shows and the chance to get jiggy with it, COUNT ME IN!
07/31/09 Asher Roth and Kid Cudi
The are sure to be one hit wonders but the "College" and "Day'n'Night" singers will probably put on a great show.
08/02/09 Katy Perry
The trendsetter and fashion icon will perform her greatest hits and could possibly bring her latest beau for the ride!
08/22/09 Sugar Ray and Fastball
Blast from the past!
Let me know if you're interested in going to any of these with me!

No-Frills
Lindsey was in town for a wedding and Jessica was back from Europe which meant it was time to CELEBRATE! After a weekend full of shopping, I found the perfect dress to see Better Than Ezra in. When paired with chunky accessories and hot pumps, you're ready to hang in the trendiest hot spots in Houston. Now, although my dress was covered in chiffon frills the night definitely was not. Well, it was some of the time.
Downer # 1: Better Than Ezra. The front man is a Kappa Sigma so Jesse and his fraternity brothers were dying to see them. And so was the rest of Houston apparently. Tickets for the show at the House of Blues sold out and I was left in the cold in a hot hot dress. What's a girl and her gal pals (plus a few guys) left to do? Go out on the town of course!
Coordinating everyone to the "Village" (Rice Village) was such a pain! We went to The Bronx Bar and Little Woodrow's.
Downer #2: The Bronx Bar was rather small and the music was WAY too loud. For such a quaint gathering place, the music and staff were very intrusive to the chill vibe the bar was supposed to offer. While sitting at a table, a waiter reached in front of me (without asking) several times, lifted my glass up to see if there was still something in it, and then put it down. He did that to everyone's drinks at the table, including long necks. It was so annoying. Watching the entire bar participate in "The Cupid Shuffle" was a flash back to 2007, so we just had to leave.
Little Woodrow's was less Affliction, more Southern Proper and exceeded my expectations. People sat around in bearable music, enjoying eachother's company while making new friends.
Our last stop was Pub Fiction in the Midtown area where I saw a high school frenemy but still had a fabulous time with my friends. The drinks were cheap and the energy was high. Frat stars and hipsters united on the dance floor...along with the intermingling of Houston hotties and my friends! Here are pics of the bar and EVIDENCE of the fun that went down:
I won't mention the sketchy behavior that went on after. Ask if you want to know! Haha! I am still trying to make it to the Terra Cotta Warrior's exhibit, so stay tuned for an update about my natural science explorations!
LAW SCHOOL UPDATE: I just paid my semester's tuition. I'm officially a student at South Texas College of Law!

Working hard? Or hardly working?
It's official...college life is over. My youth has diminished. I will never have a legitimate reason to engage in tomfoolery ever again. Goodbye Baylor, hello real world.
Although my version of the real world consists of learning about the legal system for the next three years, I'm getting a little taste of being employed. Sort of. I've been "assisting" my dad at his office since I moved back to Houston and it has been a beating! I've woken up at 6am each day to assist my dad in his daily duties. For example, when he asks me to hand him his giant check book - I comply. Sometimes, he'll ask me to run to the bank and deposit money all by myself. Today, I went to Subway and bought lunch for his office staff. So maybe I'm over exaggerating a little, but it's definitely a change of pace from the leisurely lifestyle I had in Waco.
I haven't had the chance to dive into Houston happenings yet but I will soon and they will be followed by posts! Stay tuned for my run down of the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit and the Museum of Natural Science!

Homeward Bound
Easter Weekend was more than great. I watched Homeward Bound with my niece and nephew, watched Slumdog Millionaire with Jesse, ate good food, and drank my aunt's expensive "Passover Wine." She's not Jewish but she celebrates Passover nonetheless; I think it's because she loves having reasons to party! Haha!
Although I could write a heck of a good post about Disney's 1993 film about 2 pups and a kitty lost in the wilderness on a journey to find their owners, I'd rather write about my journey back to Houston. On Thursday morning, I woke up early to begin packing my car up for the long drive home from Waco. Instead of my usual duffel bag, I packed up my entire walk-in closet at the apartment. I have so much clothes that I don't wear, so it really doesn't matter if I take it back home 5 weeks before I'm set to move back for good. I also packed ALL of my shoes (well, minus the staple black pumps and my 345,242 pairs of tennis shoes) and my winter wardrobe.
On the drive home I thought about what a pain it was going to be to unpack and how I wouldn't have anyone to stand at my doorway and talk to me while I sorted my life out. Usually, when I pack for a long weekend with Jesse or a trip to D.C., Liz stands around my doorway and keeps me company (aka talks out every possible outfit with me) while I pack and pile clothes on my bed. Who will I have in Houston? My dad. I will be living with my dad since for the first time since my parents divorced in 1993. (Wow, looks like 1993 is an ongoing theme here.) I've lived with my dad for a few weeks every summer and winter break since then, but not for a long period of time. My bedroom at my dad's is still decorated the same as when he bought the house eight years ago - my prized collectible Barbie's on the top shelf of my closet, my Barbie dream house at the foot my bed, and pictures of April and me at our 8th grade "Winter Ball". Not only do I have a lot of unpacking to do, now I'm realizing my room is in dire need of an extreme home makeover!
Living with my dad won't be half as bad as I'm expecting, I'm sure. Yeah I'll be a little lonely because he's never home, I won't have anyone to curl up in the living room with every night to watch my shows with, but I bet I could convince my dad to do it! Haha! The only bad thing is seeing as I have never lived with him, he'll probably want to instill a curfew on me. I rarely stay out past midnight so it's really not that big of a deal but he's extremely over protective and is not used to me staying out late. My mom, on the other hand, could care less about what time I get home as long as I'm safe; but living with her throughout law school would be hell.
So I will be dealing with loneliness, boredom, intense work load at school, Houston traffic, humidity, and a curfew at twenty-two. Awesome.
Despite all of this, there are so many things I am looking forward to in Houston. Exhibits at the Museum of Natural Science, Astros and Rockets games, shopping in the Galleria, going to classy wine bars, and being close to my family are a few perks of being back in the city. I'm really excited about going to The Tasting Room. There's one in Midtown, Uptown Park, and River Oaks.

I'm getting closer to my life after Baylor...

Fact: There are 49 verses that have the word "friend" in the Bible
Faithful are the wounds of a friend,
But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
Prov 27:6
But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
Prov 27:6
I have 50 days left until I walk across the stage and receive that fancy piece of paper I've been working so hard for for the past four years. It's really sad to think that this chapter of my life is coming to an end; but with it I'm leaving a lot behind that I really don't want in my life anymore. Clutter. College has taught me a lot about relationships, communication, faith, trust...about life in general. And as this chapter is swiftly coming to and end, I am faced with these truths:
(1) people are not always what they seem
(2) give all you can, and you will still get trampled on by those that never cared about you in the first place
(3) the people that really care about you will be there no matter what happens and you may not even realize they are there...those are "your people" (as referred to in Grey's Anatomy tonight).
Seeing as I'm out the door in less than two months, the first two realities I have encountered recently are not ones I thought would be happening in this moment in time. And surprisingly, I'm not talking about Jesse. I have learned that friendships can hurt and bruise just as terribly as intimate relationships - sometimes more. With all the negativity surrounding me lately, I can only focus on the positives: genuine friendships, laughter, amazing family, my shows, and the million other things our great Lord has blessed me with!

Sex offendors & bathroom births during dinner
Last night I went to dinner with Adam, Dan, Liz, DaNae, Molly, Anna, Nelly, and Lindsey (shout outs!) at Elite Grille. Monday night's there are awesome - $1 margaritas all night long and half price appetizers before 7pm; definitely one of Waco's best happy hours. The conversation was pretty normal: who we hate these days, which girls need to eat more than 5 carrots a day, and so forth; that is until we ran in to the topic of collegiate current events.
Baylor Student Charged With Online Solicitation Of A Minor
Really? Reallllly? That's almost a two year span on sickness. The student was a senior in the Golden Wave Band.
Unexpected Dormroom Birth Catches Mother, Roommate Off Guard
A freshman student at OU gave birth in her suit bath but here's the kicker - she had no idea she was pregnant. TLC and Discovery Health both did specials on women who had no clue they were pregnant and then went into labor; however, they were large so the weight gain was seemingly unnoticeable. The OU student gave birth at 8 months and had supposedly had no significant weight gain. She was home during Christmas break...don't you think her parents would have noticed if she was 5 months prego? She allegedly did not drink or smoke during the pregnancy so the baby should be in perfect health.
Inside scoop not in the article: She went to the bathroom and her roommate noticed she was making weird noises. Her roommate, who had an internship with an OBGYN the summer before and whose long term goal is to be one herself, birthed her roommates child. Not too shabby for a semester of basic undergraduate courses under her belt.
After dinner I watched my Monday shows. Here's what I think:

Baylor Student Charged With Online Solicitation Of A Minor
"The teenager was actually an undercover Austin Police Department investigator who maintained what an arrest warrant affidavit described as “a sporadic online relationship” from May 2007 until last month with an AOL user with the screen name “Final Cloud777.”'

- The Secret Life of the American Teenager: John is the worst name ever. Jonathan, Jonah, Johnny...names in which John could be the nickname for...but just John? Really? That's so boring. Amy could have named her son something more modern and hip like Morgan, Ashley, or Suri. Naming your son a traditionally female name is actually quite masculine these days.
- Gossip Girl: The Blaire and Nate hookup was HAWT! The viewers want more of it!

Drama

THE HILLS SEASON 5 PREMIERE MONDAY APRIL 6 9PM...DON'T MISS IT!
So maybe I'm a little obsessed. I live for drama and seeing as how I have ZERO drama in my life and am too lazy to stir up my life I have nothing else to do but follow Lauren (LC), Heidi, and Audrina. The commercials have been driving me insane! Did Audrina and Brody "hook up"? Are Heidi and Lauren reconciling? The suspense is killing me! I want to know now! I know, I know...The Hills is partially scripted but it's still sooooo addicting! Betrayal, love, friendships, cat fights, and Lauren's amazing wardrobe - what more can you ask from a 30min MTV original series? This is the LAST season that Lauren Conrad will be on the show, so basically this is the last season of The Hills. I guess I'll have to get in to From G's to Gents now.
** According to Heidi Montag's Twitter, she and Lauren had an amazing time at The Hills photo shoot last week. Looks like one of my questions has been answered!
I am so excited for Heidi and Lauren! I never hated Heidi, I just think that sometimes girls let their boyfriends control them; especially if the bf starts doing that early on in the relationship, it becomes the norm from then on. Whatever happened between them I'm sure is just one big misunderstanding. It's the commercials about Audrina that I absolutely cannot stomach. How can she do that?! Hooking up with your friends ex is NOT allowed.

I'm blogging?

It's spring break and while the rest of my friends are getting wild and crazy, I'm at my dad's office getting my feet wet with Blogger and Twitter. I really don't know what I'm doing but Michele (what up!) thinks this is a good idea for all of us to stay connected..and it will be. I had a blog over the summer but I only blogged twice (two fab posts) about this guy I knew who got stabbed over the summer (it's Waco, don't act surprised) and the only person who read it was my roommate. She's a loyal fan of mine.
I named this blog "the life after" because it is meant to chronicle my life after Baylor...and I'm still not sure where I will be in 5 months. Tech, Syracuse, Houston - idk! Lubbock is a greasy spoon? Sounds promising. Although it's not my "life after" yet, it will be sooner than I know. I might as well start preparing myself for blogging about my graduate happenings by blogging about things I wish I was doing in Waco. Waco isn't that bad but I am hopeful for a fun future in greasy spoon Lubbock nonetheless.
