House of Blues

A little reminiscent of our Sing act a few years back (Theta Blue's House, RIP) the House of Blues serves as an excellent source of entertainment in Houston. I was looking forward to seeing Better Than Ezra perform there all last week (fail) and am making it a mission to go to the HOB for its next big show. Matisyahu performed Monday and Third Eye Blind on Tuesday. Here are a few of the shows I might go to:

06/17/09 Filter Presents: Santigold w/ Trouble Andrew and Amanda Blank
The artist previously and most recently known as Santogold.

06/25/09 Ben Kweller w/ Jones Street Station
If you're into a bluesy down-south twang with a hint of rock kind of sound, then you should download his cd Changing Horses, it will CHANGE your life.

07/09/09 Very Disco: A Daft Punk Tribute
Everyone who knows me knows how much I love Daft Punk. Crazy light shows and the chance to get jiggy with it, COUNT ME IN!

07/31/09 Asher Roth and Kid Cudi
The are sure to be one hit wonders but the "College" and "Day'n'Night" singers will probably put on a great show.

08/02/09 Katy Perry
The trendsetter and fashion icon will perform her greatest hits and could possibly bring her latest beau for the ride!

08/22/09 Sugar Ray and Fastball
