It's official...college life is over. My youth has diminished. I will never have a legitimate reason to engage in tomfoolery ever again. Goodbye Baylor, hello real world.
Although my version of the real world consists of learning about the legal system for the next three years, I'm getting a little taste of being employed. Sort of. I've been "assisting" my dad at his office since I moved back to Houston and it has been a beating! I've woken up at 6am each day to assist my dad in his daily duties. For example, when he asks me to hand him his giant check book - I comply. Sometimes, he'll ask me to run to the bank and deposit money all by myself. Today, I went to Subway and bought lunch for his office staff. So maybe I'm over exaggerating a little, but it's definitely a change of pace from the leisurely lifestyle I had in Waco.
I haven't had the chance to dive into Houston happenings yet but I will soon and they will be followed by posts! Stay tuned for my run down of the Terra Cotta Warriors exhibit and the Museum of Natural Science!
